Sun 12 Apr - Gillercomb,Green Gable, Great Gable,Scafell Pike, Glaramara

 Start - Seathwaite, Borrowdale, at 10am. NY236122.
Grade - strenuous
Distance ~10 miles but subject to change on the day
Time - 6-7 hours
Initial plan:
Head up Sourmilk Gill to Gillercomb and then on to Green Gable & Great Gable (option of doubling back to 'bag' Base Brown if anyone is interested/keen in that), then dropping down to Sty Head.
Then the options before us are
- pushing on to Scafell Pike;
- dropping straight back down the gill towards Stockley Bridge;
- going on & dropping down Grains Gill;
- heading back down over Glaramara.

The exact route will depend on the weather on the day and on who/how many of us there are, and what we collectively want to do.
If the weather is bad, we may not make the ascent of the gables.
I also want to look at a couple of grade 1 scrambles up Sourmilk Gill and on Seathwaite slabs, but these will be optional.

Please could you contact the leader by Saturday evening if you plan to go on the walk.
